Thought this was funny. Sort of want to call.

Brad's Growvember I love that his work is participating in Growvember because I can't WAIT for him to show up to Thanksgiving dinner looking slightly homeless! Here's to growing that connector area!

One thing I adore about Amelia is that she still has her "baby smell". I can't describe it, but I know that I have missed it in the other kids because theirs is gone. Sometimes I put her on my lap just so I can smell her neck. It takes me back to the early days with her and its the sweetest heartbreak realizing that she is getting so old.

Max and Amelia were invited to a Mater's Tall Tales Viewing party. It was a thrilling 25 minutes for both of them!

Hazen ate breakfast at my house recently. Max was disturbed that Hazen didn't get a "big bow of see-yoh". I explained that Hazen eats like a little mouse so he eats a mouse sized cereal bowl. Max says :"yeah, and I eat like a holycrap Dinosaur Man!" True Dat.

It might have been easier to give Amelia the task of circling what she DIDN'T want, rather than what she does. Looks like its time to dust off the internet in search of "teaching 5 year olds the true meaning of Christmas"

In another conversation with Anne she didn't realize that I had a separate blog for Mariko. The idea being I will put up pictures so her family and friends in Japan can follow some of her adventures. There isn't a lot of script because Hello, I speak english and my spanish would be useless (although I am amused that when I am trying to communicate a word with Mariko that she doesn't understand it will inevitably come out in spanish too.) I haven't been too advertise-y with the other blog because it is mostly pictures of stuff that sometimes gets recorded over here. I also don't want her blog to become dirty and common with spam (like my filthy dirty common blog can be sometimes). Mariko is the bomb diggity and we love having her in our family. Too bad I'm not giving her back in the summer. Ever. Never. http://marikomoments.blogspot.com/

A good reminder. He is only three and this trying phase he has entered in will soon be over. Hopefully. I intend on looking at this picture when I feel I am about to lose my head.

A few days ago Anne asked me if there was anything that Max didn't eat. I thought about it. And decided. Nope. He'll eat anything. And everything. Volume is the key.

We are putting Comcast cable to rest for a spell this week. I can't handle the attitude from the oldest from what she sees on TV,(not Mariko, although Riko loves to watch Project Runway and is horrified by Man Vs. Food) and the younger two could take or leave TV. We watch alot of On Demand and rather than call it On Error Notice, I'm calling it quits from the cable. I'm grateful for hulu because the majority of what I watch is on cable, so I might be sad. Here are my favorite shows. Can't wait for Parks and Rex to come back soon. Shows that are in: The Walking Dead. Holy Crap this show is scary. And gory. And disturbing. And violent. And creepy. Not sure why I like it. Mad Men. Liked it before it came trendy. But it is so cool. On a break. The Middle. It's a little too close to home but I love it. Parenthood. Loralei Gilmore is still not married but she tramps around with Jack from 30 Rock's brother so that's cool. Jerselycious. Its all the Jersey without th...

I really need to figure out a way to take the phone with me into the shower. Because if could, chances are I wouldn't have 43 pictures of someone's bedroom.

Picture stolen from my Mariko blog. That Mariko is such a keepoh. Scene: Costco Time of Day: Late Amelia is loving the Christmas displays particularly the toys. Channelling her inner Dr. Doolittle she spies a horse that you can climb on and touch its ears for a recorded cloppity clop sound. Brad hurries her along so he can finish the shopping. She bends down and says goodbye to the horse by proclaiming "Goodbye horsey! I'll SEE YOU CHRISTMAS MORNING"!! Blood draining from my face, which is good because I will be selling it at a local plasma center. F'Reals people.

Reflections is something that Abbie has enjoyed participating in and I think its good for her. Abbie spent most of her weekends on her project and was anxious to turn it in. Amelia was not so much anxious to do the project as she was anxious to get the trophy. Here she is with her darling picture. Eventhough we had talked about Abbie getting the trophy and Amelia getting the certificate I clearly had not prepared her broken heart properly when the time came and she realized there would be no trophy for her. She wailed "They Hate me!" "They hate my picture!" It was awful. File this experience under: "hmmm. Didnt' see that coming." Here is the conquering hero and her victory picture. Before the event I sent Brad and Amelia to Coldstone to pick out a special cake to celebrate the with the girls after the hoopla. Amelia picked the barfy gaggy flavor cake batter confetti puke. On an end note, I think my oldest is beautiful in every which way, but I hate the...

Hate to see these girls growing up.

I was so glad Hazen brought his fire guy over so they could both go save the world together. I must add though that after this manly event one child couldn't be found so I assumed he was pooping his pants in the corner somewhere. Not so. He was applying and reapplying the Hannah Montana lipstick. Not saying who it was. But purple is a lovely shade on Hazen.

I got my first kiss on Halloween (ick, bleaching my brain at the memory. Shudder). I got engaged on Halloween. I like Halloween. And I like that my kids like Halloween. Abbie made this. It took her 3 days, and its a kit. But it's terribly cool, don't you think? Max and Amelia made this. Good times. I love how I would come downstairs and caught Max licking one of the bats on the side of the house.
