The Mother of Geese

I began reading Amelia Anne of Green Gables and she has picked up on the language. She tells me she is in the "depth of despair".

A certain boy who was temporarily gifted a pet snake decided to be a show off a few days ago. He put water on the snake in the bucket, took the snake out, then proceeded to DRINK the snake water. So foul. Coincidentally a few days later he threw up exorcist style. I told him that's what happens to show offs. Well, that. And perhaps meningitis.

We took Abbie out of school for the day for some fun and to watch the new Spider Man movie. It was such a great day! then After the movie, we grabbed the other two kids to see if they wanted to join us for a quick movie too! I'm so glad the kids are developing the deep love for movies (and popcorn) that I have!

Lindon elementary has a great after school program and Max was totally excited to join the bug club. He was so dedicated in collecting the bugs and was so motivated. My friend Jane snapped this adorable picture of Max visiting her house asking if she had any bugs. Once Max realized that the bugs would need to be killed in his kill kit his enthusiasm waned a bit. I found some little bugs and was so excited to share with him so he could add them to his board. His little chin started to quiver and he said he couldn't because he felt so bad killing his little baby bugs.
