The Mother of Geese

This has been a really long winter. They played outside in the snow then needed to warm up. So I put them in swimsuits and they played for another 45 minutes.

So awkward to post a picture of yourself. But I wanted to celebrate over one year of no flour or sugar.

The boys are downstairs playing and they come running upstairs because they saw something scary. Me: what's going on? Boys: we were downstairs playing an we looked in the toy closet and we saw something really freaky and it was black and hairy. Me: my. What could it be? Getting ready for braces!

I have a pretty specific reason I don't like Max using my phone. Any ideas what it might be?

This January has been the coldest and most miserable I have ever experienced. It sure is beautiful, but man, so frigid!

This year started out a little bit different than other years because it was the first year I didn't have Abbie with me. She and Payton went up to Trefoil Ranch in the Provo Canyon for a Girls Scouts New Years Party. She had a blast. Those that were left around here went to a movie, went grocery shopping at Winco, then enjoyed some half hearted fire works on the porch. Rob and Rachel came over and immediately fell asleep on our couch. We must be getting old! Here's to a great New Year regardless of our lame plans!
