Basement Progress

Brad has been hard at work giving up his Saturdays on this big basement effort. We needed to put up the dry wall so he can hang the shelves. Also I feel like I need to document the fact that Brad is still hanging on to his same coveralls from 16 years ago.

School Selfie

Max has been having some trouble with his school work and wasn't feeling very motivated. I decided it was time to go and discuss what I could do to help support him on my end. He texted me asking me where I was and I sent him this picture. He was not happy when he recognized the surroundings and realized I was going to be getting involved.

Girls Night In

Lately the girls and I have been going through as many chic flicks on Netflix as we can. It has been so fun to watch them develop and get all the feels by watching romantic comedies. We decided to make it even more complete by adding mud masks. Apologies for the super serious faces--we were frozen and not quite ready to rinse yet. I love this stage my girls are in because they can totally hang out and love to watch movies.

Project! Basement Cleanup!

One of the major projects of 2017 has been to get our clutter under control and to make the basement a place the kids would actually want to be hanging around. We want the kids to have a place where they can go hang out with their friends and be downstairs. Grandma Wilma gave us some pieces from Container Store to help with this effort. Here is the before and I am not even afraid or ashamed of it. (Well maybe a little ashamed, I mean, geez!)
