The Valentine's Cards

Thank you Martha. They were a hit.

New to me

Brad got a new phone for work. So I got his old, new to me phone. The kids then received my old, new to them phone. We turned off the service and installed netflix so now they can sit and stream all day long. Max has recently started referring to my old phone but new to them phone as HIS phone. That was NEWS to me.

Weekends with Dad

Every first Saturday of the month, the kids know that I will be unavailable (baptisms and such) so Brad has started a monthly tradition of taking the kids to get a dozen donuts (don't for a minute think there are any leftover then they get home) then head to Home Depot for the free projects.

Falafel Know how

Note to self: It helps if you don't eat through your pita randomly. But I do appreciate the efforts anyway .

Children's Museum

We ventured to the Children's Museum a couple of weeks ago. I had a mad hankering for a caputo (Prosciutto, mortadella, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, olive oil & balsamic vinegar) sandwich so any excuse I can find to get within walking distance is fine by me (or more accurately, any excuse I can find to have Brad go walk and pick one up while I play on my phone...is fine by me.) Can we pause to talk about how I realize over and over again in public that my kid is "that kid". You know, the punky one? The wild one? The one that other "new moms roll their eyes and judge me" kid? But he makes me laugh so hard. He liked pretending he was Ron Hover . Little does the kid in the red car know, he's about to get carjacked.

Happy New Year
