The Mother of Geese

Did you go? What could be better than pancakes for dinner and princesses with collecting cans? And once again, I am reminded of Amelia's inability to take a normal picture.

Bradfo's pet project this winter has been fixing up a badly mistreated trailer. Max loves to head out and hammer and screw things. There's not a lot of damage that he can do to the trailer and he loves to be with Brad.

Abbie has been begging for a birthday party at Classic Skate ever since they "updated" their location. It still has that trailer park lost in the 80s vibe but now there is also a karaoke room and a ticket booth. She thought it was the best! (but man, I should really preview Lady Gaga lyrics before letting a bunch of 10 year olds loose. A tad inappropriate and disturbing...)

you are ten. Double digits. I could not be more thrilled about you. thank you for coming to our family and saving me over and over again.

Maybe you should be specific about HOW to light it. Or maybe with WHAT to light it with. Hello Mr. Overkill. I mean thank you.

Hang on to your hats, this boy is off to kindergarten!

All Abbie has wanted and talked about for the last several months is getting her ears pierced. Finally her moment arrived and she was so thrilled! I can't believe how old she looks with her ears pierced!

For Max's kindergarten appointment he "failed" the eye exam. Figuring he was just a little early when it comes to needing eye care we marched him into the dr. He passed all the tests, and even some I couldn't pass.

I love that he can and will play outside for hours and keep himself entertained.
