Amelia's 1st grade program

Proof

Since May can be a bit of a turd face with its warm hot plant killing weather in the morning to the snowy want to build a fire in the basement moods I wasn't sure what to expect when I dragged the kids to the copper mines. Any guesses? We really enjoyed the indoor visitors center though. Thanks Pandora for the free coupon.

Mama's Little Pioneer

4th grade means a year of Utah history (sing it with me Utah! People working together! Utah What a great place to be. Blessed from Heaven above… it’s the land that we love. This is the place!). I was amazed at all the activities and projects she completed. For their pioneer day they walked (and walked, and walked...AND walked), played pioneer games, washed clothes, sewing art, made houses out of items found at park, made fudge in a bag, square dancing, song singing, ate scones, played marbles and cats cradle, made rag dolls, ate taffy, made log cabins...the works) I thought she looked adorable (and if I have any readers in rural southern Utah she is not available for marriage.)

Abbie's 4th Grade performance

Wish there were more pictures of Abbie doing her part? Well my mistake for giving Max the phone to take pictures with. Sorry Abs.

Firehouse and Tacos

Brad received his telescope just in time for the ecclipse. You better believe I was singing "total ecclipse of the heart!" A view from inside the lens It was amazing! Max checking it out

Lunch with the Ladies

Mrs. Roger's

This woman was plucked from heaven and put in my baby's life to be the most perfect first grade teacher. Ever.

Gardening

I may have overdone it a bit on the gardening. Anyone want to help me eat the tomatoes from 36 plants?

Baker Take Over

I haven't been making any treats lately and the girls have picked up the slack where I have left off.
