Our new mechanic is cute

But really expensive. Add change O2 sensor in bank one sensor one to his resume. No more lean running for us!

Abbie's Dance Festival

The last week of school is pretty much one big old party. This year her second grade did a darling dance to Zip-a-dee-do-dah. Great song. Super racist and offensive movie.

"What we've got here, is failure to communicate"

What I say: Amelia, get in the bath. What she hears: Amelia, put your underwear on your head and dance around nakey

He may not be much for Conversation...

But this child blows my mind with his ingenious ideas. Problem: How to get your bike and the truck to the park. Solution: Rig up a trailer. And refer to it as your "tra-do".

Hypothetically Speaking of Course

Let's say its the middle of a Saturday and you are dead tired. Let's say your Mr. is too. Let's say the three kids are bored and therefore driving you and each other crazy. Let's say you flip the TV on and decide to catch up on last week's 30 Rock. Let's say you really want to watch it but know its not really super appropriate for the 8 and under crowd. Let's say you decide to hand over the camera and send the kids to the park to get some "fun spring shots". What happens? Let's just say you just bought yourself one hour uninterrupted Missy. Note to self-DO NOT abuse this power. You love your camera too much to lend it out. Use only in the case of extreme fatigue or when Liz Lemon is yelling at the moon with Buzz Aldrin.

Miss Sassy Pants

Is giving me a run for my money.

Amelia's Preschool Graduation Party

I threw Amelia a "done with Preschool onto Kindergarten" Party. Papa and the guest of honor. Not being one to shirk a theme I took the K for kindergarten and we had panKakes, Kream, baKon, and cupKakes. Yes that's a K shaped panKake I realized a little too late that I recycle her projects a little to soon as I struggled to come up with the "wall of work". I take pictures of the projects then send it on its way to the landfill. I thought it would be fun to have her wear the same thing she wore on the first day of school so we could take before and after pictures.

Amelia's Preschool Graduation

Amelia's buddy Owen. They are pretty much inseparable in school. But her heart still belongs to dreamy Kyle. He's in the afternoon class and she's in the morning. A detail that I needed to remind her of daily when she asked why he wasn't there. Her fabulous teachers Miss Jodi and Miss Amber.

Leave it to Max

....To take a perfectly safe situation, and make it more dangerous. This is the corner of my deck. He decided to climb over the grill (danger!) near the edge (danger) and hang out in the space(danger) where I can't see him (danger)

STOP GROWING

So help me you are daily breaking my heart. I will wrap you in as a big giant baby burrito and pretend you are still my baby.

Mothers Day Love

Take it or Leave it

Max is growing out of his daily afternoon nap. He only averages 1 every 4 days. Sometimes though, a guys gotta catch up. Brad says when Max is tired he looks all swollen and fat. I love it.

We all Scream for Ice Cream

I was cleaning out the pantry when I stumbled on some ice cream cones leftover unopened from last summer. Feeling the need to be supermom with a very unexpected treat, I surprised Max and Amelia after lunch with the cones. They happily ate their treats then scampered off to the park. I was tidying up after lunch when I heard running and screaming. Amelia went to the park and invited everyone there back to her house for ice cream seconds. Good thing I had 5 more!

The cobblers kids

Walk around barefoot don't they? Blogging has been slow lately because of server issues. According to Bradfo, (NERD ALERT!!) we have a "failed drive in the array". And we have to do something like "replace the ultra 320 scuzzy 146 gb 10,000 drive" and something with Enterprise blahdity blah blah failed. Whatever it is I am up temporarily so get ready for a slew of posts. Speaking of Nerd Alert I had a great 35th birthday a few weeks ago and Bradfo made be the best Chocolate cake ever. (I found it on my blog friend site. If you want the recipe I will email it to you then you will cry great chocolate tears of bliss and joy). I made it for him once and it takes like 17 hours and it went, in my opinion, largely unappreciated. He labored and made it perfectly and left me an extra bowl of frosting so I could frost all sides of my individual piece(s). What a guy. Then he lit the cake using bianary numbers to spell out 35. I know. mmmm. sushi... best birthday lunch ever...

Lazy Sunday

Literally the only good thing about having church at 1:00. No need to hurry out of bed in the morning.
