Spider Man parte dos

I was organizing the cold storage and about pooped my pants when I moved a box and found this little beauty. Luckily it was full of glitter and didn't move.

Spider Man, spider Man

The long drive home....

Nevada really is super boring!

Theft!

Amelia found a bag with the remains of Abbie's donut inside. Me: Amelia! That's Abbie's donut! don't eat it Amelia: I just want to take a bite Me: Would you like me to take a picture of you eating her donut and send it to her? Amelia: Noooooooooooooooooo!

the cutest RAD girl around

Look at her learning how to kick some serious bad guy booty!

Day Date with my boy

One of the great perks of having the girls in school all day is the little day dates I get to go on with my kids. This day we picked thanksgiving point farms, lunch at Pollo Loco and the park.

Like Father,

Like son Look at the sweetness that is happening with father teaching son how to properly hook up the trailer! I'm in good hands with these two fellas!

Daddy's little BYU fan!

Abbie had the opportunity of going to several games this year. She is a FAN!

I love that cute reflection

Totally perfect of Max flying his jet out the window!

Day Date to the Transfer Station

Max will often beg me to take him to the dump so he can watch the coming and goings of their stinky inhabitants. This time, he took it up a notch by yelling out the window and heckling them. Hey guy! Now you won't have a bike to ride! Hey man! Nice mustache! why don't you have a beard?

Amelia's lost tooth

The Big Red Barn

I am so glad my kids can still be bought and bribed in order for them to bend to my will. I told them we would decorate for Halloween and go to the Big Red Barn to pick out our pumpkins as soon as they got their flu shots. Done and done. After we picked pumpkins I made a picnic dinner of roasted turkey salad sandwiches with apples and arugala on ciabatta, grapes, rootbeer, fresh cider and huckleberry pie.

Crazy Hair Day

The girls both missed Crazy Hair last year because we were in Disneyland, so Abbie has been plotting her crazy hair for 2 years. She was hoping to defend her title as Craziest in her grade but this year there was no voting or acknowledgement (wah, wah). Amelia wanted to be a little more conservative and elected for the hair dye/sprinkle effect. True story we are still finding glitter in her scalp several weeks later. Also, bless her heart, I'm wondering if its possible to have a normal picture of Amelia smiling regularly and not like a maniac.

Never too old

To play like a 2 year old while you are at the doctor's office!

General Conference Weekend

Every 6 months when we have the chance to watch General Conference I try to come up with new ways to keep our kids engaged. They love trying to match the picture with the person speaking, then they get to hang his picture up. I think next April I'm going to raise the stakes a bit by having them first hand the picture up, then listen for what they are teaching, then find the picture that goes along with the topic.

Nature's Wonders

One morning Max and I were doing some harvesting at the garden and we came upon this little beauty. Max was able to get up close and observe. It was magical!

Heber Valley Quarter

Brad and Abbie had the wonderful opportunity to go on a bike ride together for the Heber Valley Century. They rode strong and well and I was so proud of them both!

Weekend at the Stein Eriksen Lodge

Our Garden

It has been such a blessing to grow out own produce this summer.
